Job Description

The main function of the Provider File Processor is to process provider referrals within time service and achieve quality standards.

Accountabilities :

Process Workflow and webform referrals following established guidelines

Validate provider eligibility according to set protocols: this will require additional investigation including telephone contact with providers and/or appropriate Regulatory bodies and Associations

Ensure provider eligibility and information is maintained on the provider database

Qualifications and Competencies :

Strong keyboarding skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communications skills, both written and verbal

Excellent problem solving and decision making skills

Well-developed customer service skills, demonstrated through speaking with internal and external clients

Strong organizational skill

Able to maintain a quick pace while providing accurate results

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word would be an asset

Bilingual French/English is an asset
