Responsibilities- Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs.
- Welcoming customers and discussing their needs.
- Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone.
- Developing repair estimates by factoring in the cost of materials, supplies and labor.
- Preparing repair orders by detailing the vehicle’s problems or symptoms.
- Connecting customers to the right auto technician.
- Test‑driving vehicles to confirm repairs meet the customer’s requirements.
- Maintaining automotive records by tracking problems and corrective actions.
- Minimum of 2‑year dealership experience in a Service Advisor role.
- CDK experience is an asset.
- Automotive knowledge.
- Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with many priorities.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to remain calm when customers or situations are stressful.
- Organization and follow‑up skills.
- Experience and desire to work with technology.
