About the Company

Our client, a large national Canadian, family‑owned business, is seeking to hire a SharePoint Administrator for a full time hybrid position (3 days/week onsite in office downtown Winnipeg).

• This is a SharePoint Administrator who has experience with SharePoint permissions/access/security, document/information governance experience (data access controls, data sensitivity labels, information governance rules, DLP, data protection and compliance, MS Purview, etc.).
• We are looking for an intermediate resource who has experience in enterprise SharePoint implementations and can communicate well with non‑technical stakeholders and business users.
• The current SharePoint intranet ecosystem at the company is at its infancy and will serve 3000+ internal users (project/department sites, document storage/sharing, collaboration tools, copilot, etc.).
• This person will be helping deploy the intranet.

• Proven experience with Administration and Support in Enterprise SharePoint deployments (preferably 1000+ users).
• Experience with SharePoint data classification, data/document security, controls/access, information management governance and compliance.
• Experience with data protection tools like MS Purview.
• Very good communicator, experience understanding users' requirements and user training.
• Ability to commute 3 days/week to downtown Winnipeg office.

• Documentation experience.
• Experience with Copilot administration/setup.
• Teams/One Drive/O365 admin.
• SharePoint reports and audit logs.

$80,000 - $95,000 per year
