Assistant to Tax Preparer (Temporary)

We are seeking a temporary Tax Preparer Assistant to join our firm at our Winnipeg St. Anne’s office. The successful candidate will be proficient in completing the tasks outlined below:

• Internal management and intake of personal tax documents
• Navigation / retrieval of data from CRA Represent a Client service
• Import of CRA data into Tax Prep software
• Digitization of physical documents
• Management of digital files, maintaining file organization
• Creating file directories using Case Ware software
• Other responsibilities/duties as required

• Effective communication skills (verbal, written, electronic)
• Must have access to CRA and possess a My Account with CRA
• Solid knowledge and skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Proficient keyboarding skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks
• Excellent time management skills (organization & prioritization)
• A positive attitude with a desire to exceed expectations

This temporary role will run from the end of February or the beginning of March through May 15. It is scheduled Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Hours may vary based on operational needs. This is an in‑office position located at our St. Anne’s site. Compensation details will be discussed during the hiring process.
