• Lead and manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries
• Participate in consulting engagements or special assignments and identify client service opportunities
• Supervise, develop and lead a team of accounting professionals
• Identify and cultivate new sales and/or client service opportunities
• Complete corporate and personal income tax returns
• Compile feedback on staff performance throughout the year and conduct regular performance reviews
• Lead practice and professional development initiatives
• Assess risk, controls, and accounting processes to offer clients solutions and recommendations

• CPA designation
• Multiple years of accounting experience, preferably within a professional services firm
• Experience working in public practice accounting
• A solid foundation of accounting and assurance education with experience executing Audit, Notice to Reader and Review engagements
• Experience preparing tax returns. Corporate, Personal, Trust; as well as T4s and T5s
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, mentor and develop others to build high performing teams
• Experience supervising staff on multiple engagements
• Experience with Caseware, Profile, Sage 300 (ACCPAC), Sage 50 (Simply Accounting) and Quick Books is an asset
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly MS Excel
• Excellent client services skills with an aptitude to understand the clients’ business and maintain strong client relationship
• Business development skills are an asset
