Nevada Gold Mines is looking for Open Pit Haul Truck Operators to join our Turquoise Ridge team.

Responsibilities:

* Safely and effectively operate haul trucks

* Perform other duties as assigned

* The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.

Qualifications:

* Entry level, no experience required in mining or operating equipment.

* Able to read, write, and possess basic math and science skills to complete daily reporting requirements.

* Reliable, consistent work history

* A basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and functions of haul trucks preferred

* Ability to communicate with all Mine Operations personnel required

* Ability to work with minimal supervision required

* Satisfactory safety, performance, and attendance record required

* Ability to perform the essential functions of the job required

* Experience operating 300-ton haul-trucks preferred
