Keep back of house stocked and equipped with clean dishes. Empty trash cans and bus cart effectively. Communicate with coworkers and management, adhere to safety procedures and follow sanitation guidelines.

- Dishwashing – operate dish wash machine, clean all dishware and silverware, floor and waste receptacles.
- Bussing – clearing, cleaning and resetting of tables in dining room.
- Checking proper wash and rinse temperatures.
- Proper use of company equipment.
- Maintain a working pace determined by the amount of business.
- Products and materials – maintain the correct level of par stocks, handling, and storage of all dishwashing materials.
- Maintain clean work stations including dish rack and bus cart.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and/or
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No experience necessary – will train.
Language
Skills:
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical
Skills:
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- TIPS Card.
- Regularly lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Dishwasher.
- Triple sink.
- Soda machines and hookups.
The employee regularly is exposed to hot and cold temperatures due to back and forth between front of house and back of house. They may also be exposed to cleaning chemicals. Floors in dish area will be slippery.
