* Position Title:
** Welder | We are seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented individual to join our manufacturing company as a Welder
1. Responsible for performing welding operations on metal components according to specifications, blueprints, and safety standards. This position plays a key role in fabricating and assembling structural and mechanical products used in our manufacturing processes. | |
* Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications.
* Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
* Perform grinding, cutting, and other finishing tasks as required.
* Determine the appropriate welding equipment, settings, and methods based on requirements.
* Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
* Align components using fixtures, tape measure, levels, speed square, etc. and clamp pieces
* Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
* Prepare trailers and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
* Follow orders, and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
* Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
* Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
* Follow all company rules and policies.
* Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
* Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to properly identify and compile information to effectively make decisions and set priorities.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. | |
* This is a full-time position. Work week is Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts. Saturday will be required when production demand requires overtime.
* Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time.
