Position Title
Welder

We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented individual to join our manufacturing company as a Welder 1. The role involves performing welding operations on metal components according to specifications, blueprints, and safety standards. This position plays a key role in fabricating and assembling structural and mechanical products used in our manufacturing processes.

• Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Perform grinding, cutting, and other finishing tasks as required.
• Determine appropriate welding equipment, settings, and methods based on requirements.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
• Align components using fixtures, tape measures, levels, speed squares, etc., and clamp pieces.
• Weld components using manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
• Prepare trailers and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Follow orders and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
• Follow all company rules, policies, safety rules, and quality standards.
• Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to properly identify and compile information to effectively make decisions and set priorities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Environment is not climate controlled. Limited control of heat and cooling; hot in the summers and cold in the winters.
• Loud industrial environment.
• Manufacturing floor with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes.

• Walking, standing, kneeling, bending are required up to 90% of the workday.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50–70 pounds, up to 20% of the workday.

• This is a full‑time position. Work week is Monday through Friday, 10‑hour shifts. Saturday may be required when production demand requires overtime.
