Job Summary – Labor & Delivery RN (Night Shift)

Shift: 3x12s Nights (19:00 – 07:00)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP

• Locals Allowed: Yes (same rate)
• Radius Restriction: None
• First-Time Travelers: Not accepted (must have prior travel experience)
• EMR: Centricity (preferred experience)
• Block Scheduling: Case-by-case approval by manager

• Shift: 3x12s – Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend required

• License: Active KS or Compact license at time of submission (no pending)
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP

• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must be able to function independently after second shift orientation

• Assist with sterile speculum exams
• Sterile vaginal exams
• NST & reflex checks
• External Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• IV insertion & medication administration
• Labor & Delivery management
• High-risk vaginal deliveries
• Forceps/Vacuum deliveries
• C-sections
• Neonatal & newborn care
• Pain management
• Postpartum care
• Surgical cases
• Cervical cerclage
