Position Overview

William Newton Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Infection Control / Employee Health Registered Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for overseeing infection prevention initiatives, supporting employee health programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

• Monitor, prevent, and control healthcare-associated infections
• Support employee health programs, including screenings, immunizations, and exposure management
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies, CDC guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using the facility’s CPSI system

• Active Kansas RN license or Compact RN license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• ADN required (BSN or MSN preferred)
• CIC certification highly preferred (not required)
• Prior Infection Control or Employee Health experience strongly preferred

• Annual Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000
  (Compensation based on education, certifications, and experience)
• Permanent role with full benefits package
