Overview

The Community Health Center in Cowley County (CHCCC), located in Winfield, Kansas, is a mission‑driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to improving the health and well‑being of residents through accessible, high‑quality, and compassionate care. CHCCC provides integrated medical and behavioral health services, with a focus on removing barriers to care and strengthening community wellness. CHCCC is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer to serve as the organization’s senior executive leader.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for providing organizational stability, strategic leadership, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance while advancing CHCCC’s mission and long‑term sustainability.

• Degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
• Senior executive leadership experience in healthcare administration, preferably within an FQHC or community health center environment.
• Demonstrated success in strategic leadership, financial oversight, and organizational management.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, HRSA requirements, and board governance.
