This position is a clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care for acutely ill patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
Responsibilities- Effectively interact with patients, significant others, and health team members while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice.
- Provide phone triage, deliver abnormal test results, and give corresponding care instructions.
- Current experience within the past five years or new nursing graduate within the past two years
- Graduate of an accredited 2‑ or 3‑year nursing program
- State of Illinois RN license
- BLS certification
- One year’s experience in a pertinent clinical specialty
- Second language proficiency
- BSN strongly preferred upon hire
