Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology / Cardiology X-Ray Technologist with surgical experience and an active Illinois license for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an X-Ray department with surgical cases

• Day shifts, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

• Weekend shifts are required

• No on-call requirement

• Potential to float to different units or facilities within the health system if requested

• Must submit all requests for time off with initial application; no additional RTO will be accepted after submission

• Vaccination status must be provided at the time of application

• Completion of facility-specific orientation modules during scheduled shifts is required

• Benefits from a structured team environment with support as needed

• Local candidates accepted at a local rate if within a 75-mile radius

• Religious or medical accommodations for vaccines must be submitted using the facility-specific form for review

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved school of Radiology Technology

• Current ARRT certification

• Certified by the State of Illinois to practice and administer radiation (IEMA)

• Active Illinois state license required for consideration

• Current BLS certification through AHA

• Minimum 1 year of direct X-Ray technologist experience

• Surgical experience is required

• License required if applicable
