The Village of Winfield is seeking a detail-oriented Permit Technician to join our Community Development team. Hiring range is $28.84 – $33.44/hour. This position is responsible for reviewing and processing building permit applications, coordinating plan reviews and inspections, issuing permits upon approval, and providing customer service to residents, contractors, and developers. Additional duties include managing contractor registrations, monitoring permit-related deposits, and assisting with zoning and stormwater compliance.
