Ready to accelerate your career while helping our customers move forward? As a Technician at Penske, you’ll perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on the newest and best-maintained fleet of vehicles in the industry. You will keep our customers’ vehicles in shape and on the road.

• Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies for logging, researching, and completing repairs, including basic diagnostics
• Perform preventative maintenance—such as tire replacement/rotation, lubrication, component replacement, electrical and cooling system repairs on gas and diesel vehicles
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands‑on coaching
• Assist with additional projects and tasks as assigned by a supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1‑2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a DOT driver qualification file
• Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort using hand and power tools
• Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork abilities
• Basic computer skills
• Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including PPE and machine guarding
• Full attendance and eligibility for background, drug, and physical screening

• Frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting during shifts
• Use of hands for grasping, reaching` `touching, handling tools or controls
• Safe work at heights with ladders and elevated platforms
• Work in all weather conditions and navigate truck traffic safely
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg; occasionally up to 100 lbs/45 kg; push/pull tires exceeding 100 lbs
