Summary:
Do you have experience working in labs or regulated facilities? A cutting-edge biotech company in the Windsor area is seeking Fermentation Operators to join their weekend day shift team. Known for it's state-of-the-art facility and positive work culture, this organization is ideal for candidates with prior experience in the FDA-regulated food production environments and a solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Pay: $24.50/hour
Schedule:
Friday - Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:30 pm Responsibilities:
Operate equipment in a hygienic and safe manner in accordance with all processing procedures
Operate equipment such as fermenters, centrifuges, autoclaves, pelletizers, mills, and freeze dryers
Monitor the production process and collect samples for various analysis
Perform minor maintenance work and mechanical upkeep
Safely moves equipment, product, and materials with powered pallet jacks
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in an FDA-regulated or controlled manufacturing environment preferred
Background in industrial fermentation or pharmaceutical production is a plus
