Mobile Multi-Skilled Technician (Electrical Bias)

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Mobile Multi-Skilled Technician with a strong electrical background to join our facilities management team. This role is essential for maintaining building plant, equipment, and systems for a high-profile commercial contract across the UK South (Windsor) region.

• Job Type: Temporary.

• Hours: 40 hours per week.

• Location: Mobile coverage across the South (Windsor area).

• Pay Rate: £26 an hour

Technical Maintenance & Repairs

• Planned Maintenance: Execute all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks according to provided instruction sets and industry standards.

• Reactive Works: Respond swiftly to site engineering emergencies and reactive breakdown requests to ensure all systems are resolved within agreed SLA time frames.

• System Oversight: Maintain and understand all site plant and electrical/mechanical systems to ensure peak performance.

• Authorised Person Duties: Undertake Low Voltage Authorised Person (LVAP) duties as required for the site.

Project & Fabric Support

• Minor Installations: Carry out small-scale electrical installation works and repairs.

• Multi-Trade Support: Assist with building fabric maintenance, including basic plumbing repairs.

• Sub-contractor Liaison: Coordinate with and monitor the performance of sub-contractors, ensuring work areas are left in a satisfactory condition.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certified Electrician: Must hold a recognized Electrical Qualification (C&G 2360 or equivalent).

• Regulations: Current C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations.

• Technical Testing: C&G 2391 Test and Inspection certification.

• PPM Delivery: Previous experience working with structured PPM delivery systems and CAFM platforms.

  A good basic education with strong written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.

Physical & Operational Requirements

• Flexibility: Must be available for a call-out rota, weekend work, and out-of-hours tasks as required.

• Physical Fitness: Able to work at height, on roofs, and carry tools/components up to 20kg.

• Professionalism: A calm manner with the ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent customer service.
