KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Cell Culture Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- As the Cell Culture Scientist, you will Establish and develop a comprehensive toolbox of host cell lines for manufacturing, ensuring suitability for diverse molecule types and GMP compliance.
- As the Cell Culture Scientist, you will generate, optimize, and validate stable mammalian cell lines to support therapeutic antibody production.
- As the Cell Culture Scientist, you will apply multiple host-engineering techniques, including genome-engineering technologies such as CRISPR, collaborating closely with engineering and molecular biology teams.
- As the Cell Culture Scientist, you will document processes rigorously, ensuring all activities are fully compliant with GMP regulations and supported by detailed records.
- As the Cell Line Sciences Scientist, you will communicate technical progress and challenges effectively across multidisciplinary teams, proposing practical solutions to achieve project milestones.
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Cell Culture Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology).
- Proven experience generating stable cell lines for antibody and antibody-format expression in an industry setting.
- Solid understanding of genome-engineering techniques, such as CRISPR, and associated analytical methods.
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques including ddPCR, cloning, and plasmid construction.
- Working knowledge of flow cytometry/FACS, single-cell cloning, and electronic lab systems.
