Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 gross per year. Perfect Household Staff is delighted to offer an experienced, proactive and independent Travelling Housekeeper to support a private lady residing in a beautiful three‑storey Georgian property in Windsor, Berkshire. The principal divides her time between Windsor, her London flat, and Scotland during the summer months. We seek a trustworthy professional with experience caring for dogs, a willingness to travel, and the confidence to manage a household independently to a consistently high standard.

Working as a Travelling Housekeeper requires a high level of organisation, initiative and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be comfortable caring for fine surfaces such as marble and wood, managing laundry to an excellent standard, overseeing household shopping, coordinating contractors and receiving the principal on a regular basis. This is a live‑out position based in Windsor with excellent transport links;

a driving licence is essential and access to a car is strongly preferred. When travelling to Scotland, all accommodation and related travel arrangements are provided.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the house, including marble and wooden floors, dusting, vacuuming and mopping.
• Clean and sanitise the kitchen, appliances, surfaces and floors.
• Ensure the house is well‑presented and prepared for the family’s arrival or guests.
• Care for laundry – washing, ironing, folding and organising clothes.
• Organise household items, including kitchenware, cleaning supplies and other essentials.
• Maintain an inventory of household supplies and ensure stock levels are adequate.
• Feed the family’s dog and provide general oversight; care for three cats as needed.
• Coordinate and manage contractors for any required maintenance or repairs.
• Help with grocery shopping and stock replenishment.
• Accompany the principal to her Scottish property three‑to‑four days a week during the summer months.
• Travel with the principal to the London flat twice a month for maintenance and care.
• Ensure continuity of household duties during the principal’s travel and be proactive in household management.

• Three or more years of private housekeeper experience.
• Two excellent checkable references.
• Conversational English.
• UK working permit.
• Driving licence.
