Key Responsibilities- Deliver well‑planned, interactive lessons that meet the KS2 curriculum objectives
- Promote positive behaviour and establish clear routines to maintain a calm and productive classroom
- Use assessment tools effectively to track pupil progress and guide future teaching
- Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
- Take part in wider school life through extracurricular activities, trips, and whole‑school events
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with a calm and consistent approach
- A reflective and flexible teaching style, with a passion for inclusive education
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A team player who values professional development and collaborative planning
