Position Summary
The Associate Sales Manager supports the sales team by assisting with daily sales activities, customer interactions, and administrative functions. This role is designed for a high-potential sales professional looking to develop leadership skills while continuing to build a strong foundation in sales execution and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities- Assist sales representatives with lead follow-up, quotes, and order processing
- Manage a small portfolio of accounts or inbound leads
- Support achievement of team sales goals through proactive outreach and follow-up
- Participate in customer calls, meetings, and presentations alongside senior sales staff
- Help reinforce sales processes, tools, and CRM data accuracy
- Serve as a point of contact for basic sales questions and coordination
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in the CRM system
- Assist with tracking sales activity, pipeline updates, and basic forecasting
- Prepare simple reports and summaries for sales leadership
- Help resolve routine customer issues and escalates as needed
- Bachelor's degree
- 0-2 years of sales, customer service, or business experience
- Strong interest in sales leadership and career growth
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems or willingness to learn
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
