Food & Beverage Attendant Overview: The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while allowing our guests a special dining experience, with a smile as you greet guests, explain menu offerings, take food and drink orders, and deliver a high level of service that exceeds our customers’ expectations.
Responsibilities- Welcome and connect with every customer. Discover customer needs and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant or hotel functions and services.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter orders in POS system.
- Maintain a presentable food display and make necessary additions/changes to food.
- Perform running side work and opening & closing duties throughout your shift as required by service station assignment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work and service area.
- Ensure guests are satisfied with the beverage, food, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change (if applicable).
- Teamwork — Offer or ask for help to fellow team members as situations arise.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the immediate supervisor.
- Have a keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills.
- Pleasant and friendly demeanor.
- Able to work as a team and independently.
- Flexible working hours.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
- Physical mobility and stamina.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Ability to follow instructions.
