FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for being a great team member of this high energy community with 432 apartment homes in Windsor, CT. You will assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community by always providing a quality living environment for our residents.

As a Maintenance Technician (MT), your primary responsibilities include:

  • Showing care and concern for our residents through excellence in service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance
  • Resolving maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair
  • Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turn-over repairs and improvements
  • Preserving the safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness, snow removal and ground maintenance
  • Providing residents with outstanding customer service
  • Working weekends or evenings and being on call for after-hour emergencies
  • Operates with OSHA standards and company safety policies
What You Bring to Us
  • Experience in maintenance preferred and/or 1-2 years of experience preferred
  • Beginner to intermediate proficiency preferred but not required in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair
  • Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation
  • Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and to respond to on-call emergencies
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps and computer programs
