ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Mobile Crisis Response Team
Our Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) rapidly responds 24/7 to requests for crisis interventions in the community. Referral sources include health care providers, family members, self-referral, police and other community member.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Works directly with 211 call center and CHR Triage Center to triage incoming referrals, directing crisis intervention efforts and intervening as required.
- Insures clients receive crisis intervention and treatment services that are focused on presenting problem.
- Monitors client meetings, admission, continued stay and discharge criteria.
- Provides clinical direction and leadership within the Team.
- Provides weekly supervision for all assigned staff.
- Embraces and actively promotes an inclusive and equitable work environment.
- Insures timely completion of reports and data on performance indicators by DMHAS and agency standards.
- Oversees completion of chart audits and ensures needed documentation.
- Ensures completion of insurance authorization for services rendered as necessary.
- Participates in hiring staff.
- Additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
In-depth clinical skill and knowledge in the following:
- Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis and treatment for assigned population; risk assessment, crisis management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, planning, and program implementation skills.
- Demonstrated skill in understanding of cultural differences.
- Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationship with clients, staff and community stakeholders including family members, local police departments, community health providers, etc.
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
Education: Master’s or PhD in mental health and substance use related field.
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a clinician, and 2 years of clinical supervisory experience in a clinical mental health setting.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW, LPC, LMFT preferred. LMSW
