Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Component Engineer with strong expertise in Reach compliance, MoC assessments, and materials data validation to support product development for aerospace applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with design, procurement, and compliance teams to ensure all components meet regulatory standards. This role involves validating material data using industry tools, integrating compliance information into 3D models, and supporting documentation for regulatory audits.
Strong knowledge of CATIA/NX and familiarity with compliance databases is essential.
- Perform REACh and MoC assessments for components and assemblies across multiple product lines.
- Analyze and validate materials compliance using tools such as Green Soft or similar platforms.
- Use compliance databases like IHS, Silicon Expert, and others to verify regulatory status and material data.
- Collaborate with design and procurement teams to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support documentation, reporting, and audit requirements for regulatory submissions.
- Integrate compliance data into 3D models using CATIA or NX to maintain design traceability.
- Stay updated on evolving global environmental regulations and contribute to internal compliance strategies.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in REACh compliance and materials engineering.
- Proficiency with Green Soft or equivalent MoC analysis tools.
- Experience with compliance databases (IHS, Silicon Expert, etc.).
- Strong hands-on experience with CATIA or NX for 3D modeling.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and collaboration skills.
