** What You Will Do
*** Executes processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and / or program execution.
* Responsible for P.O and flow of orders
* Communicates with cross-functional disciplines.
* Approves and qualifies vendors to fulfill account needs.
* Responds to client issues or problems.
* Authorizes purchase orders and approves payments to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.
* Analyzes and reviews price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.
* Prepares and reviews request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
* Analyzes and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
* Preparing Compliance packages in support military contacts.
** Qualifications You Must Have
*** Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience
** or
* * an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience
* 3 or more years of experience in a purchasing manufacturing environment.
** Qualifications We Prefer
*** Experience in Government procurement
* SAP experience
* Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing data and determine proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
* Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
* Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment.
