Tolmar, Inc. is a fully integrated pharmaceutical company based in Colorado. We develop, manufacture, and distribute both branded and generic prescription medications globally, focusing on oncology, urology, and pediatric endocrinology. Our long‑acting injectables and oral medications offer innovative treatment options that meet the diverse needs of patients worldwide. By leveraging emerging technologies and developing new products, we aim to simplify treatment delivery and enhance the overall patient experience.

The Tolmar Process Development team is responsible for maintaining and improving the manufacturing processes for our commercial products. We work with the quality and commercial teams to ensure that any changes needed for the manufacture of our commercial products result can be made without any compromise to the quality of our finished product. We also look to update and improve the existing processes to improve the consistency and quality of manufacturing.

The nature of business is that priorities can shift according to the needs of the company/department and therefore the work described below is a sampling of the kinds of work we expect this position to entail:

• Assist Process Development Engineers with the development and implementation of cleaning procedures.
• Perform surface area calculations to determine wetted area of production equipment.
• Assist with execution of study protocols.
• Assist with execution of registration batches to be filed with the FDA.
• Assemble/disassemble equipment, including; tanks, filling equipment, and reactors.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Good documentation practice and technical writing ability.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate equipment.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and pharmaceutical industry.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing.
• Ability to read and understand dimensioned equipment drawings.
• Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of statistical experimental design methods (Design of Experiments - DOE) preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing operations preferred.
