Position: Full-time Dispatch Guard - St. Clair College South Campus.

Description:St. Clair College’s South Campus is the main campus and serves as a hub for academic programs, student services, and administrative offices. The campus includes multiple academic buildings, student residences, athletic facilities, and parking areas.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist visitors, and employees during crisis and contact the necessary emergency services as neededEnsure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properlyDispatch security guards to incidents, emergencies, or scheduled patrols.Observe CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm panels.Ability to de-escalate a crisis, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including; police, fire and paramedic resources.Handle Lost & Found items and inquiriesAbility to provide first aid and medical response when required to any personMaintain positive and constructive relationships with The Client’s staff and external clients by providing timely and accurate support as required.Perform duties and tasks assigned by the Security Leadership team and respond to the directions of the client.Prerequisites:
Valid Security License for the province of OntarioValid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved providerFull G driver’s licenseEnglish (oral and written) fluency is a mustMust be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionLegally authorized to work in CanadaPlease be aware:
The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
