Outside Sales Representative
Job Type: Temporary Part Time (3 month contract)

Location:
Windsor, Ontario
Access to a vehicle is highly recommended due to the long distances involved.
PurposeTo cover designated territory developing potential customers and maintaining existing customers at projected sales levels.
Responsibilities- Time and territory management to accomplish daily, weekly and monthly sales goals including defining market demographics, competitor analysis, prospecting new business and existing account knowledge.
- Participate with UNFI Sales team to effectively maintain existing accounts, develop new business and address operational issues.
- Provide accurate and complete sales reports to Sales Manager in a timely manner.
- Submit appropriate and timely account information for all new and existing accounts for input into the UNFI information system.
- Participate in continuing education programs regarding company products, services and industry compliances.
- Document and resolve customer complaints.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Post-Secondary education and/or equivalent related experience and training.
- Valid G Class driver’s license or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Sales
- Understanding of related computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Previous sales experience preferred.
- Previous experience in organic/natural Consumer Packaged Goods sales is an asset.
- Computer experience preferred (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Goal oriented self-starter with high energy level and competitive spirit
- Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned area

Compensation: UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate for this position. Actual pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. UNFI is committed to transparency in pay in compliance with applicable state and local laws.
