Westrow is a freshfood brokerage specializing in produce, meat, deli, home meal replacement, bakery, and confectionary in Canadian retail grocery stores. We represent leading brands and connect them with major retail partners across the country.

Are you an independent, self-starting professional looking for a dynamic field role? We're seeking a Retail Merchandiser for the Windsor area and surrounding rural routes. Windsor territory would include smaller towns like Blenheim, Chatham, Essex, Belle River, Leamington, Kingsville, Tilbury, Amherstburg, LaSalle, St. Clair Beach and St. Marys.

This is a part-time position where you'll be the face of our clients' brands in retail stores, building relationships and driving results at the store level.

• Represent Westrow Food Group and our clients throughout Windsor and surrounding areas
• Execute and monitor point-of-sale marketing initiatives including couponing, promotional displays, and signage placement
• Maximize client sales through strategic merchandising and relationship building

• Service retail stores according to the call coverage plan assigned to your territory
• Provide retail reporting electronically using company-provided tablet
  
  Gather and report competitive intelligence and market insights
• Complete monthly retail price reports, call reports, and expense submissions

• Build strong working relationships with retail store personnel and departmental specialists
• Deliver professional, courteous service while maintaining Westrow's high standards
• Serve as a trusted resource and problem-solver for retail partners

• Standard retail calls are conducted between 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
• Regular email communication and phone availability during business hours
• Attendance at company sales meetings as scheduled

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities with a customer-focused mindset
• Highly organized with excellent relationship management skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Professional communication skills and presentation
• Problem-solving aptitude and analytical thinking
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and tablet technology
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle

• Understanding of basic marketing principles
• Current residence within the Windsor territory
• Post-secondary education
