Job Description

As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload pallets at the receiving bay, and subsequently move them to the appropriate location within the Next Star battery plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift effectively and safely.
• Load and unload pallets at the receiving bay.
• Transport pallets to designated locations within the facility.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in operating a forklift, particularly a counterbalance model.
• Experience in warehouse inventory and material handling.
• Must possess an external/third-party forklift license.
• Reliable transportation to the work site.
• Ability to work a 12-hour continental shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Must wear static discharge shoes (yellow triangle).
• Successful completion of a forklift test prior to receiving an offer.

Work Environment

This position involves working in a manufacturing setting with bi-weekly rotation shifts of 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am. Employees must adhere to safety protocols, including wearing static discharge shoes.
