Team Lead, Customs

Mandate:

Reporting to the Customs Manager, the Team Lead, Customs is responsible for managing the brokerage team, ensuring the appropriate and efficient delivery of customs services to Delmar clients, as well as ensuring company goals and targets are met. The candidate will be managing and participating in the development of customs processes, service platforms, and productivity output. The candidate will also be responsible for addressing client queries, maintaining positive relationships with them as well as with relevant government authorities.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in the customs brokerage industry at a supervisory or management level is an asset

• College Diploma in International Transportation & Customs or related field is preferred

• Strong business acumen and knowledge of customs procedures, tariffs, regulatory requirements, profit & loss management, accounting, and CSA.

• CCS, CTCS, LCB designations are preferred

• Experience in Cargo Wise One system or related brokerage systems is considered an asset

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
