Director of Business Development

* Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to translate partner needs into solution requirements.
* Overall accountability of ensuring partner and HCC needs are accurately reflected in solution design and deliverables for launch.
* Main liaison with partner throughout the implementation process to ensure they are up-to-date on progress and any issues.
* Develop and maintain exceptional partner relationships.
* Ensure an ongoing understanding of partner needs, goals, and objectives.
* Act as the main point of contact for key partners, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
* Address any partner challenges, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth collaboration between our partners and all HCC teams.
* Strong financial acumen and budget management
* Support CSMO on Partner Program financial modelling and negotiations throughout the initial agreement stage.
* Develop and manage annual partner program budgets.
* Ensure programs are on budget and profitable.
* Monitor and track program financial performance.
* Experience preparing business cases and financial scenario analysis to support program enhancements.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* 5-10+ years in business development, enterprise sales, or partnership roles.
* Demonstrated success in prospecting, outreach, and relationship building at senior levels (VPs, founders, product heads, etc.)
* Proven experience developing and securing key national partnerships with complex B2B digital-first solutions.
* Proven track record of managing and successfully growing key strategic programs on either client or agency side.
* Insurance sector experience preferred.
* Experience and proficiency of digital-first programs.
* Experience leading key accounts for a minimum of 3-5 years at a Senior Manager/Director level.
* Minimum 10 years experience in progressive roles.
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent leadership and management skills.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Proven experience in exceptional partner relationship-building / account management and negotiation for large national companies and organizations.
* Thought leadership of digital-first programs and platforms.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong project management and superior attention to detail.
