Job DescriptionThe Sensor Assembly Machinist will perform tasks that are necessary for the production process. They aid in the fabrication of products.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
- Support assembly, calibration and test of products under the guidance of Assembly lead.
- Assembly of sensors using automated production equipment.
- Follows detailed work instructions and completes production transactions in Net Suite to support inventory accuracy and traceability.
- Load materials, start production runs, monitor equipment operation, identify basic issues or abnormalities and report failures during production to Assembly Lead.
High School Diploma
Skills Required- High attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods
- Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors
- Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing policies at all times
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn ERP systems
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Manufacturing environment
Must be a US Citizen due to government contracts.
