Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Financial Analyst, where you will engage in financial reporting, planning, and analysis in compliance with GAAP and internal policies. This hybrid role involves generating forecasts, analyzing business trends, and supporting strategic planning initiatives.
Responsibilities- Conduct financial reporting, planning, and analysis in compliance with GAAP.
- Review and approve journal entries, P&L, and balance sheet accounts.
- Generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, operations, and engineering for strategic planning.
- Assist with reporting and reconciliation of estimates at completion (EACs) on engineering and development programs.
- Monitor and communicate financial risks and opportunities within the business.
- Provide financial analytics to leadership for informed decision‑making.
- Support ad‑hoc management requests for financial information and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley and government accounting standards.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and accounting.
- Experience with financial forecasting.
- Knowledge of GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with financial reporting and strategic planning.
- Ability to analyze sales, operations, and engineering trends.
- Strong communication skills to convey financial risks and opportunities.
This is a hybrid position, blending remote and in‑office work to support a flexible and collaborative environment. The role requires the use of standard office equipment and adherence to professional attire when in‑office.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Windsor Locks, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49.08 – $49.08/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
