Candidates for this Elementary School Counselor position must possess a strong understanding and knowledge of elementary school-level students' physical, social, emotional, and educational needs and characteristics. Qualified candidates must have beliefs and abilities that support our mission of “Success For All” students. Candidates must also have appropriate Maine Certification and approved Maine CHRC at time of hire. The school counselor works as part of a mental health support team consisting of a behavioral specialist, a behavioral interventionist educational technician, two social workers, a school-based clinician, an assistant principal, and a school resource officer.
