We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder (1st shift) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for precision welding of metal components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in TIG welding techniques.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform TIG welding on various metals, including stainless steel and aluminum, following project specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accuracy.
  • Set up welding machines, select appropriate welding rods and filler materials, and adjust settings as needed.
  • Inspect and measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot welding issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Keep a clean and organized work area in compliance with company standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • TIG welding certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in TIG welding
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency with welding equipment, measuring tools, and fabrication processes
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA regulations
