Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting the company's growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem‑solving skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Manufacturing Engineer
Location:South Windham, Connecticut
Pay Range:$85,000 - $110,000
What's the Job?- Develop and implement optimal CNC programs and tooling methods to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Design and refine manufacturing processes and controls to ensure quality and productivity.
- Collaborate with Estimating and Production departments to identify opportunities for cost reduction and lead time improvement.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives to support company capability and capacity expansion.
- Train personnel in CNC programming and manufacturing best practices to foster a knowledgeable team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience with CAD/CAM software and machine tools.
- Extensive experience with fixture design and working with various alloys.
- Lean Manufacturing certification and practical experience.
- Knowledge of ISO
9001 and other Quality Management Systems, along with ERP systems and process generation.
