ABOUT THE POSITION:
Child Crisis Therapist
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides crisis assessment, outreach, and follow up to monitor status of clients in crisis.
- Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes
- Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
- Works with clients to develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural supports.
- Maintains collaborative relationships with family members and other service providers
- Performs home and community-based care.
- Responsible for Maintaining Client and Staff Records According to Agency Policy
- Participates in weekly supervision and meetings to review client and program progress.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education: Master’s Degree or higher in mental health field
Experience: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience working with serious emotional disorders and their families. Demonstrated training and experience in assessment, crisis evaluation and de-escalation of crisis situations. Has worked in collaboration with others.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
: LMSW, LMFT-A, LPC-A, or higher licenses.

COMPENSATION* :
$60,496/annually minimum and up commensurate upon experience.
* Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience and internal equity, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
