Housekeeping Club is a well-established local cleaning company providing top-quality cleaning services across Cumbria and North Lancashire
. Due to continued growth and an expanding client base, we are looking to build a list of reliable, hardworking cleaners to provide casual cover when required.

This role will involve covering:

• Busy periods
• Staff holidays
• Last-minute sickness or emergency cover

There is no guarantee of regular hours
, however as the business continues to grow, there may be the opportunity for this role to develop into a more permanent position for the right candidate.

You may be required to work across a variety of sites, including:

• Holiday parks and holiday lets
• Schools
• Offices
• Other commercial premises

Please note: This is not a permanent role
.

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
• Disinfect high-touch areas regularly to promote hygiene and safety
• Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and cleaning materials as needed
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines when required.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within designated time frames
• Good organisational skills and reliability
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Flexibility to work during scheduled hours, with some roles requiring early mornings or late shifts depending on client needs
• DBS check preferred but not essential
• Driver with own vehicle preferred but not essential
