Speech Language Pathologist

Birch Agency is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech‑Language Pathologist to join a supportive school‑based team in the Winchester, Virginia area for the upcoming school year. This full‑time, in‑person opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact by helping students strengthen communication skills and reach their full potential.

  Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Setting:
  School‑based / In‑person (1 elementary school & 1 middle school)
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday
• Hours:
  
  37.5 hours per week

• Screen new students for speech and language disorders
• Evaluate students to determine the presence, degree, and severity of communication needs
• Provide speech‑language therapy services to students with a wide range of disabilities
• Develop and implement individualized, student‑centered treatment plans
• Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
• Communicate with families and develop home programs when appropriate
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation in compliance with state and school requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Virginia Speech‑Language Pathology License (required)
• New graduates and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
