Maintenance Technician

* Routine Plumbing, Electric, Carpentry, and HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) repairs.

* Maintain parking lots, streets & sidewalks during winter/weather events (including 12 hour shifts possibly nights, weekends & holidays).

* Perform exceptional external & internal customer service to the Citizens of Winchester & fellow

employees.

* Ensures equipment, tools and supplies are properly cleaned, stored, and secured.

* Responsible for sweeping, blowing parking lots, Loudoun Mall and sidewalks when needed.

* Assist in other areas of Facilities Maintenance (including Parking Authority) as needed.

* Responsible for taking FM on-call phone and being on-call nights and weekends as assigned.

* Other duties as assigned.

* Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

* Some experience in construction/maintenance activities as related to buildings and grounds

* Valid driver's license
