Access Control Installer

We are seeking an experienced Access Control Installer to support projects within the VA hospital campus market. This role is ideal for a mid‑level installer ready to work independently, or a senior‑level professional looking for a stable, long‑term opportunity.

• Culpeper, Gainesville, and Winchester, VA

• Install, service, and expand access control systems across hospital campuses
• Perform new installations, upgrades, and additions to existing systems
• Complete all aspects of physical installation, including:
• Door hardware
• Electric strikes
• Maglocks
• Assist with head‑end connections and basic programming (when applicable)
• Work independently or collaboratively as part of a project team
• Maintain professionalism in a healthcare, hospital environment

• Experience installing a variety of access control systems
• Strong hands‑on experience with access control hardware and door work
• Ability to troubleshoot and work with minimal supervision

• Experience with Avigilon and/or Lenel
• Programming or head‑end configuration experience

• Typical shifts may include:
• Early mornings (e.g., 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• Occasional weekend or off‑hours work
• Professional, customer‑facing healthcare settings

• 40 hours per week; overtime is rare
• 6‑month contract with strong potential to:
• Extend
• Convert to full‑time (FTE) for high performers
• Use of personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement
• Company vehicle may be provided based on performance upon conversion

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayfield, VA.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
