** Specific

Job Duties:

*** Follow and adhere to all company safety requirements and processes
* Install per manufacturer specifications and company policies:  + Manual dampers and supporting hardware  + Flex and sheet metal ductwork and associated duct fittings in light commercial and residential buildings  + Copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering  + HVAC related equipment including split systems and roof top units up to 20 tons
* Design/draw necessary duct fittings in the field to facilitate installation
* Wire both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment
* Pre-measure jobs to determine material required for installation
* Receive material and equipment required for each job, confirm accuracy and transport to job site
* Ensure proper installation of gas line connections to heating equipment
* Complete readings on machines and take necessary steps based on readings
* Accurately complete required job documentation in a timely manner
* Work with other team members and departments to meet job/project deadlines and specifications

* Physical Requirements:

*** Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
* Ability to work at heights
* Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs.
* Must be able to climb and work on ladders, scaffolding and stairs
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time as well as stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl in order to work in tight spaces
* Must be able to work within confined spaces
* Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and customers
* Must be able to use hands to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects
*
* Education and Experience Requirements:

*** Must be a high school or trade school graduate or have a GED
* Must hold a Universal Refrigerant certificate or be willing to obtain
* 1 to 3 years’ experience of HVAC installation
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various HVAC equipment
* Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy
