Position Summary

What You'll DoLeads and develops teams effectively by providing training and feedback to associates, touring stores, and collaborating on store operations, technology, merchandising, and business initiatives. Introduces and leads change efforts, sets clear expectations, and implements business solutions. Models exceptional customer service standards, manages customer service initiatives, and resolves complaints. Drives financial performance by reviewing PL statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
Ensures effective merchandise presentation and inventory flow. Provides supervision and development opportunities, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing associates. Builds a culture of belonging, stays compliant with company policies, and promotes integrity and ethical standards.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25 – $38.46. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

State Pay Differential:
This job has an additional differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable.
• 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
For facilities that sell firearms, the position requires successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state‑specific requirements, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; general work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
