Peripatetic Chef (Bank) to join the team and support care homes in the Winchester region. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, fresh meals for residents, while ensuring a warm and welcoming environment within the homes. The role offers a good work-life balance, with working days and alternate weekends, as well as competitive pay and a range of benefits.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality fresh food across multiple homes, supporting kitchen teams, and helping maintain Barchester’s quality ratings.

A personable approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents, a good understanding of nutrition, and experience working with fresh, seasonal food. NVQs/SVQs or City & Guilds equivalent, up-to-date food hygiene certification, and strong kitchen management skills are required.
