We are seeking a full-time Quality and Compliance Coordinator to join our Operations team at our office in Winchester, Virginia.

Job Description

The Quality and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and suppliers meet all internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements. This role supports quality assurance activities, audits, documentation control, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. The coordinator acts as a key link between operations, suppliers, and leadership to maintain compliance and drive quality performance.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure products, processes, and suppliers meet internal quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and support company quality and compliance programs, procedures, and documentation
  • Monitor product compliance with customer, legal, and safety specifications
  • Coordinate internal and supplier quality audits; support external audits and inspections
  • Track audit findings, corrective actions, and close-out timelines
  • Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and complaints; support root cause analysis and CAPA activities
  • Maintain quality records, SOPs, certifications, test reports, and document version control
  • Collect, review, and track supplier compliance documentation and quality performance metrics
  • Coordinate product testing with internal teams and third-party laboratories
  • Support new product introductions (NPI), including compliance validation and sample reviews
  • Analyze quality data and trends; prepare reports for leadership
  • Track vendor credits related to quality issues
  • Support quality training, continuous improvement, and compliance awareness initiatives
  • Serve as a liaison between operations, suppliers, and leadership on quality and compliance matters
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s Degree in Quality, Supply Chain, Business, or related field OR equivalent experience
  • 2–5+ years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting tools
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with audits, CAPA, and document control
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, or regulated product environments
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, FDA, CPSIA, Prop 65, or food contact compliance
  • Experience working with overseas suppliers and factories
