Primary responsibility is to provide instructional assistance to middle school students. As directed by the principal and classroom teacher, the teaching assistant will also: work with individual or small groups of students in an instructional capacity, supervise students during other activities such as lunch, and assist in completing necessary paperwork.
Qualifications- Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent and
- Must have met one of the following options:
- Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 credit hours)
- Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree
- Have passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS
- Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to your application to be considered for this position.
Range for salary is $17.00 to $26.18 per hour plus full benefits package. The salary scale may be adjusted based on the school board budget.
