Adjunct Teaching Faculty Gifted Education

Key Responsibilities

• Instructional Delivery:
  Prepare and execute engaging weekly modules to be presented in an asynchronous format.
• Student Support:
  Provide timely feedback on assignments, hold virtual office hours, and mentor students on best practices in the field.
• Compliance:
  Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and final grading in accordance with university policy.

• Academic Credentials: A doctoral degree in education or education leadership from an accredited institution. Endorsement or degree in gifted education.
• Subject Matter: Deep familiarity with research-based strategies used to teach gifted students.
• Online Proficiency: Experience utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS). SU utilizes CANVAS.
• Experience: Three or more years of experience teaching gifted students.
